U.S. Attacked on 9/11 Anniversary

Ambassador Stevens

Oh SHIT!!  There was an attack yesterday. I posed a question yesterday on Facebook. “God Forbid we would have another attack today. How do you think the President would react?” Little did I know that by the time I posted the question we had already been attacked.

The American Ambassador to Libya  J Christopher Stevens was killed yesterday by a bomb. How did Obama react? He fiddled while our embassy burned.

Sad to say, I nailed it.

So what did Obama do?  Um….nothing.

The U.S. Embassy in Cairo Egypt fired first.

With an apology. Using their Twitter account @USEmbassyCairo  the following statement was released on 11 SEP:

We condemn the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims—
US Embassy Cairo (@USEmbassyCairo) September 11, 2012

An apology for an independent American film critical of Islam which has sparked the violence against Americans in Libya.

What was Obama doing? Tap, tap tap…………um…………..Hello?

The Embassy then issued a statement clarifying the Tweet.

The Embassy of the United States in Cairo condemns the continuing efforts by misguided individuals to hurt the religious feelings of Muslims – as we condemn efforts to offend believers of all religions. Today, the 11th anniversary of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on the United States, Americans are honoring our patriots and those who serve our nation as the fitting response to the enemies of democracy. Respect for religious beliefs is a cornerstone of American democracy. We firmly reject the actions by those who abuse the universal right of free speech to hurt the religious beliefs of others.

The Embassy stands by it’s statement saying it was released “before the violence started”.

What was Obama doing?  He wasn’t even reading “My Little Goat”.  Apparently no one is in charge at the White House.  An “Unnamed White House Official”  released this statement:

“The statement by Embassy Cairo was not cleared by Washington and does not reflect the views of the United States government.”

The Embassy Tweet was then deleted.

Today, Hillary Clinton beat the president to the teleprompter:

Holy SHIT!!! I should’ve voted for her to be president. We didn’t get a President on Day One and still don’t have one. She still didn’t say “terrorist”. Oh yeah, Obama “outlawed” that word.
Statement issued through the State Department:

I condemn in the strongest terms the attack on our mission in Benghazi today.  As we work to secure our personnel and facilities, we have confirmed that one of our State Department officers was killed.  We are heartbroken by this terrible loss.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who have suffered in this attack.

This evening, I called Libyan President Magariaf to coordinate additional support to protect Americans in Libya.  President Magariaf expressed his condemnation and condolences and pledged his government’s full cooperation.

Some have sought to justify this vicious behavior as a response to inflammatory material posted on the Internet.  The United States deplores any intentional effort to denigrate the religious beliefs of others.  Our commitment to religious tolerance goes back to the very beginning of our nation.  But let me be clear:  There is never any justification for violent acts of this kind.

In light of the events of today, the United States government is working with partner countries around the world to protect our personnel, our missions, and American citizens worldwide.

[ed. note: Sounds pretty fucking presidential. WTG Hillary.]

Dear President Obama. Any comment or statement? Hello?  Bueller? Bueller?  ??????

Even Mitt Romney chimed in:

“I’m outraged by the attacks on American diplomatic missions in Libya and Egypt and by the death of an American consulate worker in Benghazi. It’s disgraceful that the Obama administration’s first response was not to condemn attacks on our diplomatic missions, but to sympathize with those who waged the attacks.”

Finally, Obama gets off his ass:

At first I thought he was reading Hillary’s speech. At least she was there to jump in in case he started fucking up. I did hear him mention terror without calling these bastards terrorists. He mentioned 9/11 and offered an excuse why his ass wasn’t in New York (or at least the Pentagon) laying a wreath at Ground Zero.He totally ignored that there was an attack in Egypt as well.

So how did Obama react to an attack on the U.S.?

With an udder lack of leadership. As if this attack slammed into his campaign bus and every one but him grabbed for the wheel to keep from veering into a ditch.

Was this a terrorist attack?

Of course not. Please ignore the Libyan crowd outside our Embassy yelling “OBAMA! OBAMA! WE ALL ARE OSAMA!!!!”

Marines Headed to Tripoli.
