The Girl on the Stairs

Today is the 49th anniversary of the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

Victoria Adams was a young lady working as a secretary in the Dallas School Book Depository 49 years ago.  She and a friend were looking out of their office window on the seventh floor.  Immediately after the shooting the two women ran down the stairs to see what had happened.  As they ran down, they saw no one else on the stairs.  They heard no one else one the stairs. Neither above them nor below them.  I walked those stairs in 1977.  They are wooden and rather “rickety”. As I walked up slowly, my foot steps echoed. I could only imagine how loud it would be if I had ran.

This year I read
Girl on the Stairs, The: The Search for a Missing Witness to the JFK Assassination

It’s also available for your Kindle.

It proves once and for all that Lee Harvey Oswald did not run down the stairs from the sixth floor sniper’s nest and was in deed, sitting in the lunch room when the President was shot.
