What is the White House?

The “White House” is the nick name of the Executive Mansion.  It is the official residence of the President of the United States.  It is also the President’s private residence and where the Presidential family resides.

CNN “reporter” Joe Acosta lost his White House clearance when he acted like an ass at a Presidential press conference.  Even Fox News is one the “Freedom of the Press” band wagon.

BUT FIRST, A HISTORY LESSON

Until the Truman Administration, American citizens could knock on the White House door and ask to see their President.  This ended with the assassination attempt of November 1, 1950.  This traditional invitation by the President extends back to Washington.

Between 1861 and 1864, records indicate that President Lincoln personally entertained over 2000 callers.  From members of Congress and the Military to ordinary citizens.  Mrs. Lincoln’s relatives alone were a tribe of trouble. Half of them were Confederate sympathizers or Confederate combatants. A letter written by Samuel G. Suddarth is revealing.

“We were conducted up to the Presidents Sanctorm or business room, where to our surprise and gratification all further formality was laid aside. Mr. Lincoln shook us cordially by the hand and received us in so natural and unostentatious a manner, and with that kind of unaffected, plain, and native urbanity, as to dispel all embarrassment, and cause us to feel entirely easy. ” [1]

It is a long held tradition of the White House being the President’s home and people are invited into it “at the pleasure of the President”.

It also means the Presidents can do anything they want in it and to it.  First Ladies have had a free hand to redecorate.  Truman had the whole thing torn down and rebuilt.  A bowling alley was added by Richard Nixon in 1969.  The current “press room” sit atop FDR’s swimming pool.

Bowling at the White House.

They are the final arbiter about who can or can’t be in the White House. During the first term of President Clinton, Hillary’s entire staff did not have security clearances to be in the building.  Yet, they were allowed in “at the pleasure of the President”.

PRESIDENTIAL PRESS CONFERENCES

The first presidential press conference was held by President Woodrow Wilson in March of 1913.  Since then, presidents and their staffs saw them as a primary strategy for explaining their policies.

“I regard it as rather necessary to the carrying on of our republican institution that the people should have a fairly accurate report of what the president is trying to do, and it is for that purpose, of course, that those intimate conferences are held.” [September 14 1926]-President Coolidge

The Press has no Right to be in the White House.

CONCLUSION

It looks like the question of kicking Joe Acosta out of the White House will go to the Supreme Court on the grounds it violates the First Amendment and freedom of the press.

But the White House is the President’s home and by extension America’s home.  If the Supreme Court rules that Acosta and anyone else for that matter can enter the White House over the President’s objection does not bode well for our Rights.

If the President, as the Head of his household can be forced by the courts to allow people in that he doesn’t want there; the Courts can force you to accept unwanted guests as well.

Think about what the Left wants to do with illegal immigrants.

Do not underestimate how smart the Leftists are and their zeal in removing the Constitution.

Why is the Left Destroying US History?

“We have to tear down those Confederate statues because their racist.”   At first look that sounds fairly reasonable.  There are those in America that may well feel offended by the statues of Southern Generals.  But put that in historic perspective.  The last veteran of the Civil War died in 1959.  My grandfather died in 1960.  He was not a Civil War veteran.  My great-grandfather was old enough to fight but he packed up his family and moved back to Canada until the shooting died down and then moved back. I couldn’t spot him in a line up if I tried.  I have no idea what his politics were.

How then can a 20-something be offended by something that happened over 150 years ago?  The answer is simple, they were told to be offended.  Told by the likes of Sharpton and Jackson and other professional racists. These folks are paid to stoke the fires of racism whenever they seem to have burned out.

Have you ever heard the phrase?

If you give them an inch, they’ll take a mile.

The Left has attacked religion, nuclear families, capitalism, the military, the flag, the pledge of alleigence ,schools and elections.

Since 2008, the democratic party has been hijacked by the Marxist Left. The republican party is at risk for the same fate due to the many RINOS (Republicans in Name Only) in Congress. Every victory the Left wins outright or by “compromise” lets them move forward to the next fight.

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

― George Orwell, 1984

If you don’t teach your children to be Americans, don’t expect them to act like Americans.  I picked a random history textbook.

The Declarational so reveals a fundamental contradiction of the AmericanRevolution:theconflictbetween the existence of slavery and the idea that “all men are created equal.” One-fifth of the population in 1776 wasenslaved, and at the time he drafted the Declaration, Jefferson himself owned more than one hundred slaves.  Further, the Declaration framed equality as existing only among white men;women and nonwhites were entirely left out of a document that referred to native peoples as “merciless Indian savages” who indiscriminately killed men, women, and children.  Nonetheless, thepromise of equality for all planted the seeds for future struggles waged by slaves, women, and many others to bring about its full realization. Much of American history is the story of the slow realization of the promise of equality expressed in the Declaration of Independence. [p 162]

Thomas Jefferson was a slave owning racist. sexist and should be ignored or removed from US History.  Okay, okay.  I get it.  All the Founding Fathers were racist and sexist.  So was the rest of the World at the time but let’s ignore context shall we.  However, the American Revolution was much like the Palestian Movement where by the colonists were forced to resort to terrorism to throw off the shackles of an occupying power.

Now we come to William McKinley was the 25th President of the United States.

Following that logic we’ll have to topple the statues of the other Indian Killers.

U.S. Grant

Rutherford Hayes

James A. Garfield

The Civil Rights Act was signed into law in 1964, so we have to erase all the racist presidents:

Grover Cleveland

Theodore Roosevelt

William Taft

The other racist Presidents were:
Woodrow Wilson, Warren G. Harding, Calvin Coolidge, Herbert Hoover, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Harry S. Truman, Dwight D. Eisenhower and John F. Kennedy.

The first non racist president was Lyndon B. Johnson. Right after J.F.K. was shot. But no, L.B.J. was a racist too so he’s out. Richard Nixon, Gerald Ford, Ronald Reagan, George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush were all Republicans so they’re racist and out.

That leaves, Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton and Barrack Obama.

Donald Trump doesn’t count because he’s not really the president, right?

Has the Ford light come on yet?  (no pun intended)

Expect Carter and Clinton to fade from memory because they aren’t communist? Probably.
