Casper the Faceless Cat

This is a picture our Casper she’s the Alpha Female of our  pride of cats. She’s 13 years old. She lost her muzzle as a kitten. While chasing a Hot Wheel, she went under the dishwasher and got caught by its drive belt. The vet studied human reconstructive surgery and $1000 later she’s “faceless”.

We’re real happy we didn’t put her to sleep because she’s a beautiful, good  natured feline. Her only handicap is that she has to drink from a running faucet. She can’t put her face into a bowl, she’d drown. She will eat popcorn out of a bowl and Doritos out of the bag. Reaches in and takes them out one at a time with her little kitty hand.

Casper our beloved pet and old friend died, July 23, 2006.

She was 16 years, 11 months old.
