I found Hillary’s resume on hillaryclinton.com. Let’s take a closer look at, shall we? You Hillary voters chime on in. Yeah, I’m picking a fight.
Secretary of State
Explain the “Clinton Doctrine” as in the “Monroe Doctrine” or the “Marshall Plan”. What permanent accomplishment as Secretary of State will stand the test of Time as a defining moment where her work changed the World?
Gave Russia a reset button which reset cold war
Lack of a coherent plan to address the Arab Spring
Deteriorating relations with Israel
Assessment of Bashar al-Assad (whom she labeled a “reformer”)
Cluelessness that withdrawal of U.S. forces in Iraq would give the radicals a foothold
Lack of bringing to justice the jihadists who killed our 4 Americans
Victory lap on Osama bin Laden giving a false impression of al-Qaeda’s decimation
Blindsiding the Israeli prime minister with a public declaration of U.S. policy on “1967 borders”
Backing Hugo Chavez’s candidate in Honduras rather that the middle and business classes’ choice (who was also pro-American)
Relaxation of Cuban sanctions followed by Alan Gross’s imprisonment
Surprising Poland and the Czech Republic by pulling out anti-missile sites
Embracing Hosni Mubarak (calling him a family friend) just when pressure was needed to prevent what ultimately became his overthrow
The lack of a cogent approach to the Middle East
Failing to take decisive action in Syria before jihadists poured into the country
The decision to overthrow President Gaddafi in Libya
Downplaying human rights, especially with China
Failing to robustly support the Green Revolution
Engagement of Iran and foot-dragging on sanctions, allowing Iran to reach the cusp of a nuclear weapons capability
Announced “pivot” to Asia without carrying through
We won’t discuss the whole email thing because the U.S. Attorney cannot say the words “she broke the law”.
In eights years, Senator Clinton sponsored three bills.
S. 1241: A bill to establish the Kate Mullany National Historic Site in the State of New York. Bush signed the bill Dec. 3, 2004.
Kate Mullany (1845-1906) was an early female labor leader who started the all-women Collar Laundry Union in Troy, New York in February 1864. It was one of the first women’s unions that lasted longer than the resolution of a specific issue
S. 3613: A bill to name a post office the “Major George Quamo Post Office Building.” Bush signed the bill Oct. 6, 2006.
Quano was a Medal of honor recipient and naing a post office is one of the bills that go through Congress unopposed. No real leadership involved.
S. 3145: A bill to designate a highway in New York as the Timothy J. Russert highway. Bush signed the bill July 23, 2008.
Timothy John “Tim” Russert (May 7, 1950 – June 13, 2008) was an American television journalist and lawyer who appeared for more than 16 years as the longest-serving moderator of NBC‘s Meet the Press. This highway happens to be the one yu use to get to the Buffalo Bill’s stadium.
Take a moment and reread those bills. Which on impacted your lie directly? How many millions of lives were bettered because Senator Clinton stood her ground, displaying exceptional leadership to pass these laws which are so important they are the foundation of her work.
First Lady of the United States of America
I really can’t say or explain how being First Lady is service. Correct me if I’m wrong but First Ladies , although they have served their country, never taker an oath of office. Whatever. Let’s review what happened while she “served ” as First Lady of the White house.
First Lady of Arkansas
Hillary Rodham Clinton does not have a law license. It has been suspended. But when she was a “practicing lawyer” these fun things happened.
In the summer of 1971 she interned at the Oakland, California, law firm of Treuhaft, Walker and Burnstein. The firm was well known for its support of constitutional rights, civil liberties, and radical causes (two of its four partners were current or former Communist Party members).
Hillary taught at the University of Arkansas School of Law. There, Rodham taught criminal and constitutional law. Like Obama, he tenure as a “professor” is murky. Please leave a comment if you were in one of her classes.
Her history of being an activist consists of running a legal services clinic, performing prison projects, and did advocacy work.
Hillary’s resume for the office of President is kind of thin. But Obama ran with less and won.
